The $BRC token is backed 70% by $DAI, held in a smart contract. Additionally, protocol and ecosystem fees contribute intrinsic value to the governance token, $gBRC. The $gBRC token incentivizes the ecosystem, promoting minting, borrowing, and trading of the $BRC token. With a total supply of 1 billion, the $gBRC token will be distributed to users over a 10-year period. The Brinc finance protocol utilizes bonding curve algorithms and smart contracts for continuous minting, burning, price, and supply calculations. Each $BRC minted requires $DAI to be put into reserve, ensuring on-chain reserve backing. The price of $BRC increases with supply, following an increasing price function.
