CakeSwap(CAKESWAP) is a native utility token of CakeSwap Exchange (DEX) that serves various purposes within the growing landscape. It primarily functions in yield farming and staking. CakeSwap is a decentralized exchange (DEX) known as an automated market maker (AMM). Currently, CakeSwap is progressing through three phases. Phase one successfully launched the CakeSwap token, while phase two, featuring the 'Decentralized Exchange' and 'NFT Marketplace,' is still in progress. Phase three will introduce a debit card linked to the token wallet address. Debit card holders, who own tokens, will be able to pay with the debit card based on the USD value of their tokens. The system allocates 2% of every buy/sell to all CakeSwap holders and converts 8% of each transaction into liquidity to maintain price stability. Additionally, 3% of every buy/sell goes to the marketing wallet to support marketing expenses.
