The Klever Finance Token (KFI) is the governance token of the Klever Blockchain. KFI token holders have significant influence and responsibility over the blockchain's function, including control over app protocol configuration and approval authority for new apps through on-chain voting. KFI empowers the global community to innovate in peer-to-peer technologies and advance decentralized finance. KFI holders can vote for new app proposals, change app proposals, and new projects, as well as earn network rewards by participating in blockchain governance. KFI can be mined by adding KLV into daily mining pools, with all KLV used for mining burned and removed from circulation. The initial supply of KFI is 150,000 tokens, and the total max supply will be 1,000,000 tokens, minted through a halving process over 20 years.
