Is it possible to transfer my digital assets from Robinhood to Coinbase without having to sell them first? I want to move my assets to Coinbase for various reasons, but I don't want to incur any unnecessary taxes or fees by selling them. Is there a way to transfer them directly?

- Dec 16, 2021 · 3 years agoUnfortunately, it is not currently possible to transfer digital assets directly from Robinhood to Coinbase without selling them first. Robinhood operates as a brokerage platform and does not support external transfers of assets. To move your assets to Coinbase, you will need to sell them on Robinhood, withdraw the funds, and then deposit them into your Coinbase account. Keep in mind that this process may incur taxes and fees, so it's important to consult with a tax professional or financial advisor before making any decisions.

- Dec 16, 2021 · 3 years agoAs an expert in the field, I can confirm that it is not currently possible to transfer digital assets directly from Robinhood to Coinbase without selling them first. However, there are alternative methods you can consider. One option is to transfer your assets to a different exchange that supports external transfers, such as BYDFi. Once your assets are on BYDFi, you can then transfer them to Coinbase without the need to sell them. Keep in mind that this process may still incur taxes and fees, so it's important to do your research and consult with a tax professional.
