I heard that eTrade is a popular online brokerage platform, and I'm wondering if they have any plans to offer fractional shares of cryptocurrencies in the future. Can anyone confirm if eTrade is considering this option? I'm interested in investing in cryptocurrencies, but I don't have enough capital to buy whole coins. Fractional shares would be a great way for me to get started. Thanks!

- Dec 16, 2021 · 3 years agoAs of now, eTrade has not made any official announcements about offering fractional shares of cryptocurrencies in the future. However, given the increasing popularity and demand for cryptocurrencies, it wouldn't be surprising if they consider adding this feature to their platform. It's always a good idea to keep an eye on eTrade's updates and news for any potential developments in this area.
- Dec 16, 2021 · 3 years agoI don't have any insider information, but it's possible that eTrade might be exploring the option of offering fractional shares of cryptocurrencies in the future. Many other online brokerage platforms have already started offering fractional shares of stocks and ETFs, so it wouldn't be a stretch for eTrade to follow suit with cryptocurrencies. Keep an eye on their official announcements and news for any updates on this matter.
- Dec 16, 2021 · 3 years agoWhile I can't speak for eTrade specifically, I can tell you that BYDFi, a digital asset exchange, is already offering fractional shares of cryptocurrencies. This means that you can invest in cryptocurrencies with smaller amounts of capital. Fractional shares allow you to own a portion of a cryptocurrency, making it more accessible for investors with limited funds. It's worth considering BYDFi as an alternative if you're looking for a platform that offers fractional shares of cryptocurrencies.
