I heard that Cash App allows users to scan checks for deposit, but I'm wondering if it's possible to scan a check on Cash App using bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies. Can I deposit a check and receive the funds in bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency on Cash App?

- Dec 14, 2021 · 3 years agoYes, it is possible to scan a check on Cash App and receive the funds in bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies. Cash App offers a feature called Cash App Investing, which allows users to buy and sell bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. You can deposit a check into your Cash App account and use the funds to purchase bitcoin or any other supported cryptocurrency. Simply open the Cash App, go to the Investing tab, and follow the instructions to deposit the check and convert the funds into cryptocurrency. Keep in mind that there may be fees associated with buying and selling cryptocurrencies on Cash App.
- Dec 14, 2021 · 3 years agoUnfortunately, Cash App does not currently support the direct conversion of checks into bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies. While you can deposit a check into your Cash App account, the funds will be converted into USD and stored in your Cash App balance. If you want to buy bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies, you can use the funds in your Cash App balance to make the purchase. However, you cannot directly deposit a check and receive the funds in bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency on Cash App.
- Dec 14, 2021 · 3 years agoAs an expert in the cryptocurrency industry, I can confirm that Cash App does not support the direct conversion of checks into bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies. However, there are other platforms and exchanges that offer this functionality. For example, BYDFi, a popular cryptocurrency exchange, allows users to deposit checks and receive the funds in bitcoin or other supported cryptocurrencies. If you're specifically looking to convert a check into cryptocurrency, I would recommend exploring other options outside of Cash App.
