- Dec 18, 2021 · 3 years agoYes, it is possible to transfer money from Robinhood to a hardware wallet for storing cryptocurrencies. However, Robinhood does not currently support direct transfers to external wallets. To move your funds to a hardware wallet, you will need to sell your cryptocurrencies on Robinhood and then withdraw the cash to your bank account. Once you have the cash, you can use it to purchase cryptocurrencies on a platform that supports transfers to hardware wallets. From there, you can transfer the newly purchased cryptocurrencies to your hardware wallet for secure storage.
- Dec 18, 2021 · 3 years agoUnfortunately, you cannot transfer money directly from Robinhood to a hardware wallet. Robinhood only allows you to buy, sell, and hold cryptocurrencies within their platform. If you want to store your cryptocurrencies in a hardware wallet, you will need to sell them on Robinhood, withdraw the cash, and then use that cash to purchase cryptocurrencies on a platform that supports transfers to hardware wallets. Once you have the new cryptocurrencies, you can transfer them to your hardware wallet for safekeeping.
- Dec 18, 2021 · 3 years agoWhile Robinhood does not offer direct transfers to hardware wallets, there are alternative methods you can use. One option is to sell your cryptocurrencies on Robinhood and withdraw the cash to your bank account. Then, you can use a different cryptocurrency exchange that supports transfers to hardware wallets to buy the desired cryptocurrencies. Finally, you can transfer the purchased cryptocurrencies to your hardware wallet for secure storage. Keep in mind that this process may involve additional fees and steps compared to direct transfers from Robinhood.
