Metamask supports the Ethereum blockchain by default, but you can also add tokens from other blockchains by using custom networks. To import tokens, you'll need the token contract address, symbol, and decimal places. Once you have this information, you can go to the Metamask interface, click on 'Add Token', and enter the required details to import the token.
