I accidentally dropped my old phone and it's completely broken now. I had Google Authenticator installed on it and it had all my important cryptocurrency accounts linked to it. Is there any way for me to transfer my Google Authenticator to a new phone and regain access to my accounts?

- Nov 24, 2021 · 3 years agoYes, there is a way to transfer your Google Authenticator to a new phone even if your old phone is broken. The first step is to install the Google Authenticator app on your new phone. Then, you need to go to each of your cryptocurrency accounts and disable two-factor authentication. After that, you can enable two-factor authentication again and scan the QR code provided by each account using the Google Authenticator app on your new phone. This will link your new phone to your cryptocurrency accounts and you'll be able to generate the authentication codes on your new phone.

First, you'll need to download and install the Google Authenticator app on your new phone. Then, you'll have to go through the process of disabling and re-enabling two-factor authentication on each of your cryptocurrency accounts. It may take some time, but it's worth it to keep your accounts secure. Just make sure to follow the instructions provided by each account to properly link your new phone to your accounts.
