Can you please provide me with an estimate of the number of bitcoins that are yet to be mined? I am curious to know how many bitcoins are still available for mining and how long it will take to mine them all.

- Dec 16, 2021 · 3 years agoSure! As of now, there are approximately 2.6 million bitcoins left to be mined out of the total supply of 21 million. This means that about 12.38% of the total bitcoins are yet to be mined. The rate at which new bitcoins are mined is halved approximately every four years through a process called the 'halving'. Based on the current block reward of 6.25 bitcoins per block, it is estimated that the last bitcoin will be mined around the year 2140. So, there is still a significant amount of time before all the bitcoins are mined.
