- Dec 18, 2021 · 3 years agoBack in 2009, when Bitcoin was first introduced by an anonymous person or group of people using the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto, it had no intrinsic value. In fact, the first transaction involving Bitcoin was made on January 12, 2009, when Nakamoto sent 10 Bitcoins to computer programmer Hal Finney. At that time, Bitcoin had no established market value, as it was a new and experimental digital currency. It wasn't until October 2009 that the first Bitcoin exchange rate was established, with 1 USD being equivalent to 1,309.03 BTC.

So, to answer your question, when Bitcoin was first introduced, it was worth close to nothing. But now, it's worth a whole lot more!

But as more people started to believe in the potential of Bitcoin and began using it, its value started to grow. Today, Bitcoin is worth thousands of dollars per coin, and its market capitalization is in the billions. It's truly amazing how far Bitcoin has come since its humble beginnings.
- Dec 18, 2021 · 3 years agoIn the early days of Bitcoin, it was worth next to nothing. People were skeptical about its potential and didn't see any real value in a digital currency. However, as time went on and more people started using Bitcoin, its value began to rise. Today, Bitcoin is considered a valuable asset and has a significant market value.
