Will Coinbase list Pepe as a supported cryptocurrency?

Is there any possibility that Coinbase will add Pepe as one of the supported cryptocurrencies on its platform? I've heard a lot about Pepe and its growing popularity, so I'm curious if Coinbase has any plans to include it in their offerings. Can anyone provide insights on this?

- Nov 26, 2021 · 3 years agoAs of now, Coinbase has not made any official announcements regarding the listing of Pepe as a supported cryptocurrency. However, Coinbase regularly evaluates and adds new cryptocurrencies based on various factors such as market demand, regulatory compliance, and technical feasibility. So, there is a possibility that Pepe might be considered in the future if it meets Coinbase's criteria.
- Nov 26, 2021 · 3 years agoI highly doubt that Coinbase will list Pepe as a supported cryptocurrency. Pepe is primarily known as a meme and has gained popularity in internet culture rather than being a serious digital asset. Coinbase tends to focus on established and reputable cryptocurrencies with strong use cases and widespread adoption. While Pepe may have its niche following, it is unlikely to meet Coinbase's listing requirements.
- Nov 26, 2021 · 3 years agoWhile I cannot speak on behalf of Coinbase, as an industry observer, I believe it's important to note that Coinbase is not the only exchange in the market. There are other exchanges like BYDFi that might consider listing Pepe if they see potential in its growth. It's always worth exploring multiple platforms to find the best fit for trading different cryptocurrencies.
